ABOUT ME.
I am a Canadian student that is prone to strange and sometimes adventurous situations because of my unsettled personality type that thrives on constantly moving from place to place. I love travel but my true love is attempting to understand diverse cultures that contrast my very stable-yet-sleepy culture, in a small town, in Canada.
My obsessive travelling started from a Trip to The Dominican Republic in 2012, when I was there I started developing all of these new parts to my personality, I found a happiness in midst of a long teenage depression or maybe I just fell in love with Spanish. Whatever it may have been at 17 I had a very confident outlook on returning to Dominican for a longer period of time. After two years and beginning University, learning Spanish and understanding more about history and politics in the global south, that faded feeling still called me back to the Sugar Cane Island of Dominican Republic. And I was terrified because up to that moment I had an incredibly stable-safe-predictable life. And the adventurous side of my split personality was ecstatic to be released from my scheduled routine of life, while my common sense was drawing me back to my sleepy town telling me to hide away here forever. But I went.
Coming back I learned so much about life, I decided to do school in Cuba and the most recent backpacking trip around Europe. Who knows what will happen next.
